Above left is after the overlay has been applied and nothing has been added to the top of the playfield. Note that the holes for the bumpers, slings, drop targets, etc. have not been cut out yet. I will do this with an Exacto knife. Above right shows as I have added a few things to the playfield. The wooden side and shooter lane rails have been installed along with the wireforms, stand up targets, center loop, sling mechanisms, ball return apparatus, and flippers. Note that at first I installed the mis-matched two-inch flippers that were originally on the machine. In the later pics you can see the new flippers that I installed later (I hadn't bought them yet but wanted to see how everything would work).
The two pics above show the lower playfield after the overlay was applied. On the left, note the newly painted lockdown bar. Originally, it was completely covered in rust.
Above left is the whole playfield after I have applied the overlay and cut our the "big" holes. Above right is the final result after everything has been applied.
