Mata Hari

"For me, this is one of the most addictive games. Every ball is an 'almost' great ball."

Mata Hari Cabinet Front and Rear

The four pics below are the before and after of the front of the cabinet. On the before pics, note the carvings and the lack of sticker. Compare this to the finished cabinet. The new sticker makes a huge difference.

The pictures below show the back and the front of the head. I wish I had taken pictures of the backglass. Mine was one that had the inscription on the dagger and was in great shape. The only issue was rust on the lift which I removed with Eagle rust remover.

Internal Hardware Before and After

Front final Front gouge Front gouge

The first two pics above show the very rusty glass retainer and lockdown mechanism. Most old games are like this. I soak them in Lightning Rust Remover, sand them, and then paint them chrome color.

Above is the grill located on the neck under the head. I like to paint this black.

Legs Before and After

The first two pics show the legs before. You can see the areas of rust. I sand the legs and then repaint them gunmetal gray. I have found this color to be the best match for legs of this era.
