Cabinet progression
Above is the cabinet before anything has been done. Note how faded it is. It also had several dings and scratches. The
cabinet is actually standing on its end and I have rotated the picture 90 degrees so that it looks like the cabinet is in its normal horizontal position.
Above left shows the cabinet after it has been stripped. You can barely make out where the red basketball was. On the right is the left side after the white base coat
has been applied.
Above left is the right side after the white base coat has been applied. On the right is the red stencil. Note that it has markings for the railing for both
sides. This is necessary because it will lay differently on each side. I've written notes and marked distances to help me know where to place the stencil on each side.
Above left is the red stencil. Interestingly, since the order of the colors didn't matter, on one side I did the red first and the other I did the blue first. Above right is
the blue stencil being positioned after the red has been painted.
